Overview
Social media overuse is a rampant problem for many people, and I have found myself falling victim to it many times. Though I am interested in tons of hobbies and have a strong desire to learn and be intellectually gifted, I often find myself scrolling for hours, rather than being productive or doing something that exercises my brain. To solve this issue, I came up with ScrollHole, an app that monitors social media usage and provides the users with a task or activity to complete before they can go back to scrolling.

The biggest challenge that I faced while working on this project was the limitations that exist for the features I would like to implement. I would ideally like to have a set amount of time allowance for each app that should be restricted, and then have the apps lock after that time. Unfortunately, that is impossible on iOs.
